Policy/Procedure

1. To dispose of dead animals Command shall direct Dispatch to call the Street Department.

2. To mitigate incidents involving injured animals Command shall request the assistance of Dispatch personnel, who maintain a list of appropriate referral agencies.

3. The Department’s Animal Management Protocol may also be referenced.
