Policy/Procedure

1. Pre-planning shall be done on Thursdays as follows:

• Morning: 0900-1130 hours
  
  
• Afternoon: 1300-1600 hours

2. Company Commanders shall endeavor to pre-plan all targeted hazards in their district.

3. Pre-planning affords a fire company the ability to identify difficulties they will encounter in an emergency before being forced into the high stress conditions an emergency presents.

4. Though not an inspection, major violations that cannot be handled at the company level shall be referred to the Fire Prevention Bureau for action.
