Purpose

To provide documentation and accountability of Company training. This will ensure that Company training will have oversight by higher authority and is being performed in accordance with TFRD policies and procedures.

Policy/Procedure

1. The Battalion Chief will observe the officers conduct, abilities, and knowledge of the subject(s) being presented. This shall be completed in accordance with TFRD Rule Book ARTICLE XIII BATTALION CHIEFS Sec 6 Row C.

2. At the conclusion of the training, the Battalion Chief will use Target Solutions to document the observed training session.

3. A verbal critique of the training will be given to the Company Officer(s) and those involved by the Battalion Chief.

4. The Battalion Chief will report any major deficiencies or safety concerns immediately to the Deputy Chief of Training and Deputy Chief of Operations through appropriate channels.
