**Policy/Procedure** 

**1.** When a crew is dispatched to an incident where a victim has been injured on City property or while walking on sidewalks or curbs that are owned by the City, and the victim does not require treatment at a hospital or refuses aid, the Incident Commander shall direct Dispatch to send a police crew to interview the victim and take a report.

**2.** If the victim requests transport to a hospital for treatment, Command shall direct Dispatch to have the police meet the victim at the hospital.

**3.** All pertinent information shall be noted on the patient report and in the company journal.
