{{ :header.png?nolink&600 |}} =====C-43 Fuel Oil Tank Leaking - Domestic====== ===Emergency Manual=== ==Date Revised: 02/01/2018== Last Modified: ~~LASTMOD~~ [[https://www.tfrdweb.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=c_manual:C43&do=export_pdf|Export C43 to PDF]] \\ [[https://www.tfrdweb.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=c_manual&do=export_pdfns&book_ns=c_manual&book_title=C Manual|Export -Entire C Manual- to PDF]] ---- **Policy/Procedure** **1.** If a domestic fuel oil tank is leaking, crewmembers shall first shut off the emergency switch to the burner. **2.** Fire personnel shall then close the oil supply valve to the burner. **3.** If available, crewmembers shall utilize an emergency tank repair kit to stop the leak. **4.** If the leak is serious, fire personnel shall shut off and/or remove all sources of ignition until all the oil can be picked up. If there is a floor drain present, it should be sealed off. **5.** **NOTE:** It is the owner’s responsibility to remove/clean-spilled oil.
