{{ :header.png?nolink&600 |}} =====C-23 Dispatch To Incident Outside Of The Jurisdiction====== ===Emergency Manual=== ==Date Revised: 02/01/2018== Last Modified: ~~LASTMOD~~ [[https://www.tfrdweb.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=c_manual:C23&do=export_pdf|Export C23 to PDF]] \\ [[https://www.tfrdweb.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=c_manual&do=export_pdfns&book_ns=c_manual&book_title=C Manual|Export -Entire C Manual- to PDF]] ---- **Policy/Procedure** If the incident is presumed to be within the jurisdiction of the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department, but upon arrival is found to be outside of that jurisdiction fire personnel shall: **1.** Place themselves on the scene giving the exact location and stating that they are indeed out of the city’s jurisdiction. **2.** Fire personnel shall operate as they would under normal conditions. **3.** Upon arrival of the proper department and/or jurisdiction representatives, and after consultation with that jurisdiction’s incident commander, crews may return to service unless asked to remain on-scene. If asked to remain, crews shall instruct Dispatch to assign them to a mutual aid incident at their location and direct the officer in charge of the neighboring community to request our assistance through proper channels. **4.** The neighboring community’s incident commander shall remain in charge of the incident; however, Toledo Fire and Rescue officers retain command of TFRD personnel. **5.** TFRD personnel shall note all pertinent facts in the “comment” section of the Incident Report as well as the company journal. \\ ---- See Also: ---- <- c_manual:C22 ^ c_manual:start|Index ^ c_manual:C24 ->
