**Policy/Procedure** 

**1.** To dispose of dead animals Command shall direct Dispatch to call the Street Department.

**2.** To mitigate incidents involving injured animals Command shall request the assistance of Dispatch personnel, who maintain a list of appropriate referral agencies.

**3.** The Department’s [[c_manual:c7|Animal Management Protocol]] may also be referenced.
