**Policy/Procedure** 

**1.** The solicitation of Fire and Rescue Department members on City premises during work hours by representatives of outside agencies in the furtherance of private ventures shall not be permitted unless approved by the Fire Chief or the Chief's designee.

**2.** If approached by such representative, the officer in charge shall politely but firmly inform the representative of the City's policy concerning these matters.
