**Policy/Procedure** 

**1.** Pre-planning shall be done on Thursdays as follows:
  * **Morning:** 0900-1130 hours\\ \\ 
  * **Afternoon:** 1300-1600 hours

**2.** Company Commanders shall endeavor to pre-plan all targeted hazards in their district.

**3.** Pre-planning affords a fire company the ability to identify difficulties they will encounter in an emergency before being forced into the high stress conditions an emergency presents.

**4.** Though not an inspection, major violations that cannot be handled at the company level shall be referred to the Fire Prevention Bureau for action.
