Except for training sessions at the Training or EMS Bureaus, morning, afternoon and evening company training shall follow as best as possible the guidelines set forth in the L92 CBA 2125.52. Inspections, occupancy checks, and drills may be scheduled during the evening. Such evening sessions shall not exceed two hours. Drills and inspections, exclusive of occupancy checks scheduled in the evening, shall be in lieu of one of the daytime sessions. **2.** High-hazard and pre-fire planning inspections shall be scheduled per union contract. However, special stand-by duty and occupancy checks may be made on any day throughout the year. In the event that a scheduled program is interrupted by emergency duties, the time lost need not be made up that day. This does not relieve the Company Officer of the responsibility for completing assigned programs within the time periods allotted. **3.** High hazard and pre-fire planning inspections may be canceled on a city-wide basis by the Field Operations Deputy because of inclement weather or for other reasons. Notice of such cancellation shall be delivered via the fire radio. **4.** Inclement weather is defined in the agreement between the City of Toledo and Toledo Fire Fighters, Local 92. **5.** The Company Officer shall be responsible for meeting the program schedule requirements and shall assign his or her personnel so that they shall not be required to participate in more than two such activities during one single tour of duty. Such assignments shall be made as equally as possible. **6.** Drills may be scheduled per union contract. Where it is necessary for a Battalion Chief or Company Officer to schedule a drill on Sunday due to variable factors, such as traffic conditions, a need to raise aerial ladders downtown, or other variable, the time spent in these drills shall be used in lieu of the next scheduled drill for those members involved in the Sunday drill. **7.** A Battalion Chief shall have authority to cancel or delay inspection or other outdoor programs in his or her district whenever inclement weather conditions, exclusive of temperature extremes exist, that have not caused cancellation on a city-wide basis, or whenever other duties or circumstances necessitate such cancellation. \\ ---- See Also: ---- <- b_manual:B15 ^ b_manual:start|Index ^ b_manual:B17 ->
