+ | **1.** Cell phone use of a personal nature during incidents is prohibited by all members between dispatch and | ||

+ | **2.** Cell phones may be carried but their use shall be limited to that which concerns official fire department | ||
+ | business (phone calls to an alarm company, research of a drug on the internet, aerial view of a building | ||
+ | etc.) | ||

+ | **3.** Personal cell phones and pagers shall be placed in ‘silent’ or ‘vibrate’ mode while responding or assigned | ||

+ | **4.** Unless directed by command, fire personnel shall not initiate or receive personal phone calls, check | ||
+ | emails, or engage in texting while at the scene of an emergency or other call for service. | ||
